That's Amore Productions in a non-profit 501(C)3. We create educational videos for distribution within the educational system and train interns while making those videos. The Board of Directors President Dr. Martin R. Sheehan integrates a background in research psychology, direct instruction, special education, and media development. A consummate researcher, he served as a Principal Investigator for a number of grants at Northwest Media, Inc. (Eugene, OR) on topics of career education for teens with disabilities, independent living, and staff training. Dr. Sheehan has served on numerous Center for Scientific Review study groups, including the Biobehavioral and Social Science Review Group in the area of Risk, Prevention, and Health Behavior. He is also a Courtesy Research Associate in the Department of Education at the University of Oregon. He has worked as a therapist for a local counseling center and specialized in helping parents with difficult children. While in the city of Wuhan, (Hubei Province, China) Dr. Sheehan lectured the Forensic Pathology Department at Tongji Medical College, at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Executive Director Anthony R. Losco is a graduate of Montclair State University in New Jersey. In the military, he was stationed at the US Army Berchtesgaden Recreational Area in Germany, where he was the entertainment director in charge of hiring professional and scheduling military entertainers. Later in civilian life, he was an entertainment director for the US Army Special Services Division and was responsible for directing and producing shows for the military. Mr. Losco received special recognition from the US Army Europe Headquarters for putting on the first and only traveling German and American soldiers’ show, which entertained NATO troops in Germany. He produced more than 200 trade shows for US military outposts throughout Europe and product shows with Costco, Wal-Mart, and Sam’s Club. Tony has worked with the German television station, channel 2, in Mainz, as well as with the Armed Forces Television in Germany. Tony worked with the Holland America Line, documenting their Caribbean Cruises and also worked with the Ed Sullivan Show. Secretary Erik Talbert wears many production hats. He is a teacher, editor, videographer, director and writer. He has studied and practiced journalism and electronic media for 12 years with projects that have been shown both regionally and nationally. Mr. Talbert teaches classes at Oregon State University and the Academy Of Arts Academics high school. He enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures. |
